EC initiative on Science Policy

An interesting initiative has been launched by the EC, named “Connecting science and policy“. This action is very relevant for our FORWARD WP6 aims and activities, focused on enhanced connections between research and policy-making.

In the framework of this Science Policy initiative. the EC has been running a series of workshops in several EU member states, taking place between 2020 – 2022. In particular, this 16th November 2021, there was held the Portugal workshop, attended by our Madeira partners ARDITI and UMa. In this workshop, the EC also presented the EU Academy tool (https://academy.europa.eu/), where you can find a first series of interesting open-access training courses, including:

To complement the workshops, the EC has launched a survey to collect feedback from R&I centres and public authorities. The survey is accessible here, and it can be completed in 10-15 minutes. We encourage you to reply and share your views with the EC!
