Renewable energy and energy efficiency for sustainable development in West Africa and the islands of Macaronesia

Develop actions that maximize the use of renewable and indigenous energy sources, to help reduce energy dependence and promote sustainable development of the islands of Macaronesia and West Africa, based on:

(1) performance of energy planning;

(2) promote the rational use of energy and

(3) analysis of the electricity networks in order to strengthen them to increase the percentage of renewable energy penetration and study of micro-networks in isolated areas.
