The project is part of the continuation of the 1st phase of the Innoveg project of RITA2 (2015-2017). Through research-experimentation, training, transfer and evaluation of innovations, the project contributes to structuring and developing in a sustainable manner some plant sectors by intervening at various stages of the production, processing and sale of plant products selected. The priority activities were defined during a process of reflection and consultation with all partners, taking into account the 2015-2017 actions and lessons learned from the 1st phase of RITA2, exercises carried out collectively. These activities are grouped into 4 Actions (or WPs) that respond to the needs expressed by farmers and the challenges of agroecology:
The project has several governance bodies (working group by Action, project steering committee, scientific and technical committee) and management tools (activity dashboard and deliverables) to ensure the follow-up and the project completion of operations according to the commitments made by each partner. The project leader will report annually to COSDA on the technical and financial progress of the project.
