TILOS aims to demonstrate the optimal integration of local scale energy storage in a fully-operated, smart island microgrid that will also communicate with a main electricity grid. The project’s main goal is to demonstrate the potential of local / small-scale battery storage to serve a multipurpose role within an island microgrid that also interacts with a main electricity network.
