CHAM-Azores is a research and development autonomous nucleus part of the inter-university centre CHAM – Centre of Humanities of the University Nova of Lisbon.

The mission of CHAM-Azores is to promote high-level scientific research, the production and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of History, Heritage, forms of thinking and cultures, on a global scale.
