Research centers or research group

The Reunion Natural Marine Reserve seeks to preserve coral reef heritage and the related ecosystems (sandy seabeds, sea-grasses meadows, rocky seabeds). To reconcile human activity and the preservation of coral reefs, the Marine Reserve has been requested to apply rules drawn-up by the state services (policing missions). The Reserve also gathers new data on the marine environment to improve its management (scientific mission)and to raise public awareness (educational mission).
