TERINOV Science and Technology Park, located in Terceira Island, Azores, shelters and supports, in a facility and ecosystem where openness to society, scientific and technological development, connectivity and networking are key, researchers, start-ups and SMEs developing strategic projects in agribusiness, cultural and creative industries (CCIs) and information and communication technologies (ICTs), working in close cooperation and providing groundings for innovative services and products. TERINOV promotes a synergetic environment, based on multidisciplinary teams, by enhancing the creation and development technology-based services and products and fomenting collaborative innovation. TERINOV aims to be a place where agribusiness professionals can develop their research and business models alongside with other professionals (i.e., CCIs and ICTs), creating and developing the design and technological requirements that add-value to their services and products while being more profitable and sustainable. With this unique positioning TERINOV plays a fundamental role in fostering the Azorean agri-innovation dynamics. In order to materialize this strategy, TERINOV provides, as aforementioned, a multidisciplinary ecosystem, offering a set of state-of-the-art services and infrastructures (e.g. biotech labs, diary labs, experimental field parcels) and access to specialized business mentors, researchers, scientific consultants, and to national and international partners and networks.
