Update on WP6 – connecting research and policy making

The WP leader presented WP6’s objectives and the ongoing activities.
Two tasks T6.2 and T6.4 are ongoing, and the main outcome is that over 50 policy making events were executed while 21 were planned initially in the GA.

There were also several achievements in WP6 such as:

● Participation in EC consultation «Horizon Europe Strategic Planning – Revised Orientations towards the first strategic plan» (Nov 2019).
● Participation in EC consultation «Public Consultation for a new Outermost Regions Communication 2022» (Nov 2021).
● EC COM (2022) 198 took into account our recommendations in EC consultations on ORs – commitment from EC in implementing solutions addressing identified gaps.
