The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores (CCIA), created in 1979, is the “umbrella” of the three Azorean Chambers of Commerce, that represent the secondary and tertiary sectors.This structure of business associations of the Azores unifies the existence of three centennial chambers of Commerce, increasing their capacity for intervention and the recognition in their geographical areas of influence – CCIA’s main intervention areas:
